Beschreibung
The Ruger LCP II chambered in 22LR brings all of the popular features of its 380ACP big brother into an ideal package for training or plinking and adds a few new features of its own. The LCP II in 22LR uses a light rack system which includes a lighter recoil spring, enhanced cocking serrations and cocking “ears” at the back of the slide for easy slide manipulation. This pistol uses a recessed hammer and integral sights which are machined into the slide. Safety features include a magazine disconnect, a neutrally balanced sear and a hammer catch to prevent firing unless the trigger is pulled. The LCP II 22LR has a manual thumb safety and uses Ruger’s Secure Action fire control which gives the trigger a smooth pull, crisp break and positive tactile reset. Of course at its heart this is still an LCP II with the same great textured grip and fire control systems you already know and love. With a 10+1 capacity and the low recoil and cost of 22LR, this ultra compact firearm is perfect for inexpensive training or just plinking in the back yard.

Best Pocket .22
This gun is just great; easy to use and dead accurate. How Ruger got this small of a gun this accurate is amazing. I was hoping for a .22 LR version of the LCP or LCP II. I had been wanting a really great pocket 22 for some time and none of the small 22’s out there suited me, too many compromises. I own 2 LCP 380’s and love them, so this was perfect. The entire line of Ruger LCP’s have got to be the most easily concealable and reliable small guns. With the .22 LCP II you can have a capacity of 11 rounds ready to go and put them all on target. I have done full mag dumps as quick as I could shoot and keep all hits center mass or head. When the chips are down, accuracy and reliability trumps everything. Carry an LCP 380 and this new LCP II .22 as a backup, hardly even know they are there.

Great gun overall
I originally got one as a trainer before my gf gets her own gun but I ended up loving it so much I ordered another so we can have a set for plinking around and such.
Overall it’s a great pocket gun to carry with some high velocity cci stingers or such but plinking around with cheaper ammo is great but it does take a bit to wear in before it starts shooting super consistent but I have about 700 rounds through mine so far and it’s been an absolute blast!

Ruger LCPll 22 – MVP
Great little pocket pistol. Arrived at my FFL in mint condition. Also a shoutout to luftgewehrmarkt.com. As a first time gun owner, I was a bit skeptical about purchasing online. However, luftgewehrmarkt.com put me at ease. Their tutorials clearly explained the process, they were transparent and accurate with the processing times, answered my questions in a timely manner, and provided regular updates on shipment status. Thank you for a great experience!

little gun = BIG FUN
“Pocket pistol” is the perfect description for this little gun. The first thing I did was remove the slide from the frame and visually inspect all the parts. The feed ramp appeared to have been polished at the factory because it was smooth and shiny. I stuck a new cartridge into the chamber and tipped the barrel upside down. The cartridge fell out cleanly, indicating enough clearance (hopefully) to prevent failures to eject. I then cleaned and lubed before taking it to the range. The ammo I had on hand was 100 rounds of Armscor Precision 36 grain high-velocity hollow points (1247 fps). There were zero failures to fire and zero failures to eject. I did, however, have two failures to feed; both times was when the magazine was fully loaded with 10 rounds. Normally, while breaking in a new gun, I never fully load the magazine until it has had at least several hundred rounds go through it. In my experience, that lessens the chance of a failure to feed during the break-in period. In this case, I suppose I tried too soon because each time I loaded 8 rounds or less, the gun functioned flawlessly. One thing is for sure: When this little pistol shoots without any glitches, it is fun, fun, fun!
I found it to be accurate out to around 8 yards, which was as far as I tested it. The fixed iron sights were difficult to see in low light, so I painted the rear white and the front fluorescent orange, which helped a lot.
As a number of online reviewers pointed out, the front corners on the top of the magazine are very sharp! Even using the supplied loading tool I still managed to get poked occasionally. To save on Band-Aids (just kidding), I used a file to barely round off the front corners, removing only enough metal to blunt the sharp points. In my opinion, that is something they should do at the factory. Supplying only one magazine seems a bit cheap on Ruger’s part, so I bought a 2-pack of OEM magazines (Ruger part #90697). It should come as no surprise that they also came with sharp corners, so I plan to file them down, as well.
