If you are a part of the red dot revolution the Springfield Hellcat OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) has you covered with a milled slide that allows the smallest red dot sights available to be mounted directly to the slide. The outstanding U dot system remains in place to provide a co witness sight picture.
But the innovation doesn’t stop there. The striker fired Hellcat features an adaptive grip texture that grabs your skin the tighter you hold the firearm using taller flat topped pyramids to provide a smooth outer surface while shorter sharp pyramid shapes grab your hand the tighter you squeeze the grip.
Fast target acquisition is important in a defensive firearm and Springfield delivers with a bright U-Notch system featuring a tactical rack rear and fiber optic front sight. Forward and top rear serrations provide positive grip for slide manipulation while a tactile loaded chamber indicator and top facing chamber peephole ensure that you always know the state of your firearm at a glance or a touch.

Outstanding In Every Way
The Hellcat OSP is hard to find and, consequently, minimally discounted. When it came back in stock at FadaOfHope, their price was very competitive. I could have waited it out for another 6 mo. to a year for lower pricing, but I just had to have it — and I haven’t been disappointed! I only carry OWB, and for a guy my size, the Hellcat is a perfect size for warm weather EDC. My winter carry is the CZ P-10S, another great pistol. I’m pushing 70 and my eyes aren’t what they were, so I put a red dot and laser on all my pistols. The Crimson Trace CMR206 laser is already mounted and I have the Swampfox Sentinel micro red dot on order. All in all, the Hellcat is everything I expected. It’s simply amazing that a pistol this size offers 13+1 rounds.
